JK Rear Micro and D Ring Shackle Mounts Installation

Installation Process of Motobilt's JK Rear Micro Bumper. This is a super easy straight forward walk through.
The Motobilt Jeep JK Micro Rear Bumper is CNC cut and formed out of 3/16" plate. Four holes in bumper are to clear the hit bolts because it fits tightly to the frame. Micro bumper has a cut out for a 20" single row light bar designed for a light bar measuring 21.5" wide at the mounting surface. Bumper does clear factory style receiver hitch. You will have to slightly trim off the frame on the back. Only minimal trimming required in a way where if you want to change bumpers in the future, it will not hinder other bumper fitment. Ships bare metal so you can paint or powder coat the color of your choice. No hardware included.

it can be both. They just cut the upper mount off in this setup.

No, I just modified the existing drawing with the changes I wanted to make. The D-rings and pass through holes were changed and the rear of the bumper is shorter to clear the factory sway bar on the Jeep TJ/LJ. Other than that it is basically the same design. Thanks for the props on the design. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Solidworks 2013 Professional running on Win7. I have an eDrawings app on the iPad. You cannot create drawings with the iPad. The iPad app will only display.
